Penny Lewis
Penny Lewis – Lecturer, Journalist, Author.

Penny Lewis is a lecturer at Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. From 2003 - 2009 she was editor of Prospect, the Scottish architecture magazine. She has written for a wide range of publications both architectural trade press and national newspapers.
Penny has been a member of the Saltire Housing panel and was a founder of the St Peter's Building Preservation Trust. She has written three books including two on the work of the architects Gordon Murray and Alan Dunlop, Challenging contextualism (2004) and Curious Rationalism (2006), and is co-author of In Defence of the Dome (1999). She has also edited a range of publications and catalogues and curated a number of exhibitions. She is currently undertaking a PhD looking at the impact of sustainability on architectural theory and judgement.
