Tomorrow’s Thoughts Today

Tomorrow's Thoughts Today - London-based think tank exploring the consequences of fantastic, perverse and underrated urbanisms..

Tomorrow's Thoughts Today is Darryl Chen and Liam Young. Darryl Chen writes, speculates and designs at the dirty fringes of urban thought. Formerly a teacher at the AA he is now an itinerant practitioner and critic on urbanism for a range of publications, architecture schools and private practices. He believes the contemporary city requires truly contemporary thought, and that urban form is always linked with culture in its widest, rudest and politically incorrect senses.

Liam Young currently lives and works in London. After working for a number of high profile offices including Zaha Hadid Architects and LAB Architecture Studio he has escaped the star architect system and is now an independent designer and critic. Liam is a tutor tourist coordinating design studios at the AA, Bartlett and other schools throughout Europe and Asia. His studio projects delve into the projective worlds of speculation and fiction, forming critical instruments for instigating debate about the social, architectural and political consequences of emerging biological and technological futures.
